RESPONSIBILITIES
zeroShadow is seeking a lead of Web3 Security & Threat Intelligence to accelerate recurring revenue subscriptions to exceed $5M per year. This would include both new business and focusing on optimizing the renewal of existing contracts. The Head of Web3 Security & Threat Intelligence is responsible for driving growth by educating the community, developing threat intelligence, and being a thought leader. Key responsibilities include:

Community Education and Advocacy

Educate prospects and the broader Web3 community about the importance of security.

Provide actionable insights and critical steps to help businesses protect themselves and their communities from threats.

Threat Intelligence Development

Help with the development of zeroShadow’s advanced Web3 threat intelligence platform.

Utilize your experiences, creativity, and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate emerging threats.

Incident Response Participation

Collaborate with zeroShadow’s Incident Response division on investigations where your expertise can add value.

Provide technical and strategic support in high-stakes security incidents.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

Identify on-chain risks and exposures for prospects and clients.

Provide tailored guidance to address vulnerabilities through technology, processes, and training.

Pro-Bono Case Leadership

Assist and lead pro-bono cases for individuals who have been scammed or exploited.

Serve as a trusted advocate for those in need, restoring confidence and security within the community.

Strategic Guidance and Thought Leadership

Offer insights, suggestions, and guidance to prospects and customers on compliance and security strategies.

Act as a thought leader in the Web3 space, influencing best practices and shaping industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Position: This engagement can be done as either a contractor or a full time employee.

Location: This is a remote position

Experience: The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Web3 security, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance. They will have a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the crypto space and exceptional communication skills with the ability to educate and engage diverse audiences. Previous experience should include incident response, threat intelligence, and risk assessment. The ideal candidate has a passion for making a meaningful impact in the crypto and Web3 community and a creative and problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to challenges.
